Throughout the Covid pandemic our priority has been the safety and wellbeing of our service users and our staff and their families.
To ensure that we achieve this objective our Senior Management Team have met on a weekly basis to monitor and implement the guidance and regulations issued by Public Health England, the Care Quality Commission and the Department of Health and Adult Social Care.
All our staff have undergone additional and extensive training in Infection Control Procedures, the use of Personal Protective Equipment and Social Distancing.
A member of our Senior Management Team has accepted responsibility for ensuring that we have adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment and weekly stock levels are monitored and reported to the Senior Management Team.
Our offices and training facilities have been redesigned to ensure that they are compliant with Social Distancing requirements and some of our office based staff are working from home in order to facilitate sufficient space within our offices.
We are also pleased to announce that with the exception of a small number of staff who are unable to be vaccinated at this time due to medical reasons all of our have received their first Covid vaccination and over 75% of staff have received their second vaccination. Our intention is that all staff will have received their second vaccination by the end of April.
Our staff are also undertaking weekly Covid tests and the results are monitored by our Senior Management Team.
As we start to come out of lockdown we would like to reassure all of our service users and staff and family members that our vigilant approach to Covid will continue. This way we can continue to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all concerned.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our service users their families and our staff for the considerable support they have given throughout these challenging times.
I would like to thank you all for the support and care you gave IN. You made life more comfortable for her and reassuring for me and the rest of the family.
Thank you all for your kindest and support in looking after my wife, SM. She looked forward to chatting to you in the morning and she always tried to put on her make up before you arrived. It really helped her keep going, many thanks
Thank you so much for your help in arranging things for JL. In particular when you managed to arrange someone on the day I was meant to be going t o London. I couldn’t manage without you. God Bless You.
We wanted to say a huge thank you for all the love, care and support of our dear mum DP. All the team at Premier Care were a huge part of mum’s life in her final years and it is thanks to you all that I had support from all of you while I was having treatment for breast cancer and mum received the wonderful care from all of you. This meant she was able to remain at home in her own environment where her friends and family could still be around he and not having to go into a nursing home and it helped me so much. All of you helped enormously to keep her cheerful and happy and she loved you all
I wanted to thank you for the help I have had over the last few weeks from your ladies. It’s been a pleasure to see them each morning and I felt at ease with all of them. So thank you very much for your service.
To all the lovely carers at Premier Care. Thank you so much for the lovely manner in which you care for dad. Always with a smile, making sure dad had his dignity at all time and the support you showed C and I at this difficult time was amazing and will never be forgotten.
I am so pleased with the care Premier Care are giving my mum; all the carers have been kind and caring to mum and keep her comfortable. They are so patient with her. She was worried because you hear unpleasant stories about some care companies but we are so pleased with you and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.
My carers are very flexible and I need this as I am pretty much bed bound. I feel very safe with them. I feel comfortable with communication between myself and Premier Care.
